So DD is now 27 months, and has been in day care since 18 months. First two months in a center that turned out to be really awful, then we switched her to a Montessori-type school where she has really thrived. She bonded really well with her teachers and the class she was in was small (two teachers and typically 4-6 kids) so she got lots of attention.
Â
She's now moved up to the next class and things aren't going nearly so well. The class is bigger (I think 3-4 teachers and about 12 kids) and the teachers' style is really different, they are kind of military for a bunch of two year olds and not particularly nurturing imho.
Â
Should we switch day cares again? It seems crazy to switch schools every time she hits a new classroom and doesn't get along with the teacher? But I don't want her to be miserable and I don't see how this is going to change as the teachers are who they are. :(
