Anybody want to convince me I'm not pregnant? I want to convince myself. - Page 2

Thanks!  I'm anxiously awaiting answers myself!  lol.gif  Seriously, I'm still having many symptoms, but no answers.  I haven't tested since morning on Monday, which could be too early, could not.  I've resigned myself to believe I'm not because I can't stand another negative test (and I've only been doing this a few weeks!  I can't imagine how you ladies do this longer!).  Still no period, which is very abnormal for me, especially since my baby is about to turn 19 months old and eating plenty of solids.  He sleeps through the night.  In fact, he's nursing less now than he was when I got my period last month, so it seems my period would be more likely to show up now than last month.

I just re-read your original post and see you just had your first PPAF last month.  I think a lot of women have irregular cycles when they are first getting their fertility back.  I have a friend that got her period, then went a few months without it, then got it again, then got pregnant.  I think it is pretty normal to get your first PPAF and then maybe not get another one right away.  If you ovulated on 8/29 you should get a positive test by now if you are pregnant.  Were you charting at all or just going off CM?  Without temps you can't know for sure that you did actually ovulate.  Your body could have geared up to try and ovulate and then nothing.  You need that temperature shift to confirm it.  If you haven't taken a test since Monday then I would take one the next chance you have with FMU.  If it's negative your body is probably just still getting back in the swing of things.  Good Luck!!

Answers finally!  Six weeks to the day past my last AF, AF showed up.  I have so much relief at finally having an answer, one way or another!

I know you've already got your answer, but I just wanted to say that I've been having unpredictable periods while nursing my LO, too. I never did with dd1, so I didn't expect it with dd2, and it took me quite by surprise. My cycles have always been 26-27 days long. I was late a whole 4 times in my LIFE prior to this: twice when I was pregnant, once when I was 13, and once when I was 19 and seriously stressed out and sick all at once. So it's not normal for me to be late. With dd1, AF returned when she was 17 months old, and was regular from there on out. With dd2, they returned at 14 months, and have not been regular at all. My second PPAF was only 21 days after the first. My third was 29 days later, so close to normal, but not quite. My fourth was 28 days later, so close enough to count. Now this one...I'm still waiting, and it's the end of day 32. This is HIGHLY unusual for me, so I took a HPT and got a BFN. I guess irregular is my new normal, at least for now. Very frustrating.

Sorry you went thru that, but I totally understand.... nursing and ttc can be a challenge.  My period would go from one time to 50 or more days apart! It was just crazy!.  Good luck ttc next month.
