Names already?

Anyone have name ideas yet?  I personally have NO IDEA since we were not expecting a fourth baby.  Girl names I can usually decide on, but have a difficult time with boy names.

I'm the same - I can't think of any boy names! I have 2 boys already, so it's extra hard to come up with a 3rd that I like just as well. I like Allison for a girl. I'd call her Allie & I think thats just adorable. I'd kind of like something that is less common for a middle name, but I'm not sure what... Good thing I have 8 months left to decide on something :-)

I have to admit that I have been thinking of names already. I have 3 boys and a girl, and have a girl name that I really like... and a boy name I really like, too!

But I usually keep it pretty open until I meet the baby.  Some of the names I was certain of before, when the little one arrived, another name made more sense.

For a boy I love the name Toussaint. For a girl I love the name Ronia or Xochitl.

How would you pronounce Xochitl? Zo-chit-ul? What unique names! Now I'm just dying to know what you named your other 4...!!

My 3 girls are Zoe, Emerson (Emme for short) and Kinsley. We like semi-unique names. We know for a boy we want the middle name Phoenix (for very personal reasons to my hubby) and I think we like Teagan so far for a girl. We like to have 2-3 names for when the baby is born. My last we didn't name until she was 3 hours old. I still have the hospital card that was in her crib that says "Baby Girl" and our last name LOL

It is pronounced so-cheel, but if you say it fast the l is mostly silent.  It is a beautiful Nahuatl name meaning flower.  I can't reveal my kids names; I have some presence on the internets for work, and wouldn't want to reveal meself just yet.  :)

Toussaint Is a fairly traditional french name meaning "All Saints."  :)

We took our baby home as "Baby born Last name."  I had to call the hospital back 3 days later when we had the name totally hammered out!  :)

I'm pretty set on either Hadley or Amelia if it's a girl.  Charles (Charlie) is the only boy name we both really like.  I want at least one more option though, just in case he doesn't look like a Charlie.  SO thinks that's crazy, but whatever.  lol

My nearly 5 year old DD is named Charlotte Winter (I am Lindsay Autumn) and my nearly 3 year old DS is Deacon Ronald. My DH really wants to have the final say this time around and I really did choose the other two (although Ronald is after my husbands father). We have been tossing around the names James Derek and Sarah June for the last year and we have become attached to those names. I LOVE names like Iris, Edwin, Caroline, Benedict, Evelyn and Darcy but like I said, it feels like we have already decided. We even have a nickname if it is a boy that we have named James. I love baby names. It is one of my favorite things about being pregnant. We will be finding out the gender. Who else is planning on doing that? We are HORRIBLE with surprises! I am loving the website nameberry.com.

I will not be getting anything embroidered or monogramed this time!!!! Everyone talked us out of our name, then he came out looking like the name they talked us out of, and we nearly changed it right there in the hospital.  So Chase Atticus was supposed to be Atticus Jag (short for Jagmeet, my hubby's cardiologist that saved his life)

That said, the hubs is DEAD SET on naming a boy Tristan.  He doesn't care about a girl name, I can name her, I can even do the boy middle name, but he is set on Tristan.  Ummm.....pray for pink, pray for pink. Right now boy name is Tristan Guy.  I'd really prefer to honor my dad by replicating his initials GMW instead of naming the poor kid Guy :) My boy names are Graham and Grant, and I love love love Ben.

Girls names, well, one of my best friends and college roomie died last year so I would somehow love to work her name in.  So I have Whitney, Healy (which was also the dorm we lived in) and Smith.  I had a dream in college we had a girl named Kate, so I'd like to somehow work that in.  The baby is due on my gram's birthday, her name was Nellie, and hubs and I both love Ruby and Charlotte.  So that leaves us with Ruby, Ruby-Kate, Charlotte Healy (Charlie), Nellie Mae, and a few others.  No matter what, we won't be talked out of our name choice this time!!!

smile.gif That is funny! We can't leave the hospital without naming the baby. We had such a hard time picking the third girls name.

Yep, we have had names picked out since we first got together!  It has been a fun little game we have played throughout our relationship/marriage.  Boy = Deacon Alexander. Girl = Seraphina Marie.  We love our names!

I think that we are set for a boy Jackson David.  For a girl we are can not agree, I really want Lucy and DH really really wants Eleanor.  We don't have any girl middle names.  Its hard with the third baby!  I really want the name to "fit" with the other two, we have used family names as middle names for each kids but we are running out of good ones.

We had thought about Declan for our last son as well -- I love it! I'd certainly consider it again if this is a boy...but....I really feel its a girl :-)

I love seraphina!

I highly recommend Deacon! My little Deacon will be three on October 1!!! We were a little hesitant at first because we got a lot of "feedback" but I am so glad that we went through with it. I LOVE seeing the name Deacon, written (typed) out. I love how it looks. We love calling him Deeks and Deekie (Deeks turned into Sneaks which turned into Snacks which turned into Snacker). We live in a large city and there is only one other Deacon that I know of and he is in his late 20's! I love Seraphina too:) Btw, did you ladies start a facebook group?

Oh janellody, just one thing... I was just wondering where you came across the name Deacon? I fell in love with it when Reese Witherspoon named her son Deacon (and my Deacon kind of looks like her Deacon). Anyways- I am just so happy that you love that name too and I am just so interested to know where you first heard it- if you don't mind sharing:)

Dh's family is really big into Old Testament names.  I'm generally great with that, but he has a big family so I keep suggesting things and he says "nope, so and so my cousin's son is named that".  Lol.  Our first ds is Solomon Grey, so we need something that jives with that.  Right now (and this might change 15203 times) we are thinking Enoch Revere for a boy and Georgiana Noble for a girl!
