Well, DD did it! She had a whopper of a 9lb 5oz baby boy last night. She did beautifully. When she posts her birth story, I will link to it.

Hey, Itsasecret, I'm dying to know if you've told your family yet, and what the reaction is!  Congrats on becoming grandma, and let us know how the reveal goes!

I told my sister because she kept asking pointed questions - older sisters are like that sometimes! I had to tell my 19yos due to certain circumcstances. I had to tell him over the phone : ( He didn't sound thrilled, but whatever. We're telling our oldest (at home) tonight. He's probably going to take it the hardest and I wanted to give him some time and privacy to adjust to the idea. Everyone else will find out on Saturday when we have a family dinner. We were going to make one 'grand' announcement, but decided it might be better to tell the older two boys early.

We told our 14yo (oldest child at home - most affected by it) and he was awesome! He even smiled a little in spite of himself. He took it so much better than we thought. We thanked him for being so sweet about it. He said it was weird to have so many siblings. I said it was weird to be a pregnant grandmother. He laughed and said, "Yeah, I guess that's pretty weird, too."

Awe, that's very cute of him. Thanks for sharing. I look forward to hearing when you tell the rest of your family. How's your little grandbaby doing?
