IUD removal count down

The IUD comes out in less than 12 hours. Praying it is not painful (as I know my string is short)....  Not sure how I feel- mixed for sure.  I am happy it will be gone- but then left unprotected- so does that mean I am TTC or TTA without anything to use to avoid? lol... 

Wish me luck and a pain free IUD removal!

Good luck! I also had a short string, but it came out without pain and minimal cramping afterwards. I had a little light spotting for a couple days, and that was that.

You will be fine!  I (briefly) had one, maybe 6 weeks.  It didn't work for me, caused a lot of bleeding and discomfort.  So I removed mine on my own, and it felt so much better out than in!  I was amazed at how quickly and easily it came out.  Many wishes as you try to decide which avenue to take....
