11 weeks along, only 6 weeks developed

Ok so I'm totally freaked out....but trying to remain calm.  I had my first u/s yesterday and the tech said she couldn't find anything with a regular u/s. So then she did a trans/vag and told me nothing.  After hours of waiting for my doctor to call, I was informed that there was a sac, but that the embryo looks like its only at 6 weeks, as of today I'm 11 weeks.  I now have to go for blood work every 2 days to see if my levels are rising.  I've wanted this baby since before it got here, and would do anything to make sure a healthy pregnancy follows.... if any one has any good words, ideas, or related info...please help!

I don't know too much info about this particular topic, but I wanted to wish you well.  Try to not stress as best as you can.  Is there anyway you/they could have miscalculated the dates?  Are you having any symptoms?  Did they see a heart beat?  Let us know what your beta's are there are alot of smart people on here.  I have received lots of help and advice.  Best wishes!

well they didn't look for a heart beat...and I'm very sure on the dates.  I have everything marked down.... last LMP was June 28, conception 2 weeks later.  So I would be 11 weeks today.  Going for my first set of blood work, then again on thursday and then monday. thanks for thinking of us.

Just an update, druing my trip home from the smoky mountains, I miscarried.  In two months we'll be trying again. Thanks to all those who supported. xo
