Is this normal or am I slowly going insane??

Hi everyone,

Newbie here, I really could use some advice, I am starting to think I am going insane and that I might end up in a psych ward before a maternity ward!

Me and my husband have been together for 9years now, and only recently starting talking about having kids, I am 26 and he is 29, we didn't really decide yet ( he hasn't) that the time is right for kids, We have always said we want 2 kids, just never really discussed the timing, 2 moths ago I really thought I was pregnant as I was a few days late, but it turned out to just be stress.I must admit that I did get my hopes up and was disappointed when AF came! Me last Period was on 12/08/2011 and we did the deed a few times in the week I was ovulating, about a week after I ovulated I got these cramps that almost felt like AF cramps but about a week too early, I just thought that AF was coming early this month, and nothing happened. I didn't think twice about it at that time, then I started having  headache's much more often, and I got dizzy so much. I thought OK maybe the flu with the season changing and all, My thought was sore, but it also got better, I have also noticed that the air freshener is smelling so flowery all of a sudden. I was like a dragon the past week or so biting off every ones head for no reason, getting angry so fast, and then crying for no reason. Still didn't think much of it, then yesterday when I brushed my teeth there was so much blood it looked like someone punched a tooth out. It is the first time in about 5 years there was blood when I brushed my teeth, I still daily get little cramps, ( My AF cramps are normally quite severe!)

I almost forgot to add this, not sure if it is important, I have had 2 very sharp pains in my lower back/hip) and all these little tingling pains in back. and every now and then a big stabbing pain. Also I have CM that looks like lotion and loads of it!

Yesterday I hit me that I might be pregnant, I can only get to a store to get a test tomorrow, But last night I spent 7 hours on google about preg symptoms etc... And sure I feel little queasy the whole day but not vomiting, and my boobs are a little tender but nothing major and the aerola's well I have never really looked at the color so I wouldn't know if it is darker. I have too pee a lot but I normally have a weak bladder so that is nothing new. Then I think maybe I am just imagining things because I really want to be pregnant.  I feel like going insane!!

Can I take a test tomorrow and know for sure if I am pregnant or not? Is it too early? My hubby thinks we should wait until I am at least a month late. If I wait that long I WILL go insane!

A month?! go buy those cheap little drugstore tests. A MONTH. I wish I knew what went on in men's heads sometimes....

A month is madness! nono02.gif I would test right away if I were you. It sounds like it has been long enough since you think you Oed for you to get an accurate result if you do test. Also a lot of your symptoms could be early pregnancy signs. I would go for it! Keeping my fingers crossed for you! fingersx.gif

it's important to test as soon as possible so that if you are pregnant you can start getting the baby the nutrients it needs. test as soon as you can. and best of luck.

It is definitely not too early! I don't know of anyone who waits a month to test. By then you would be 8 weeks and need to go to your first OB appointment according to the conventional schedule. As to knowing for sure, it depends. When would you expect your period? If your last one started on 12/8 and your cycle is usually 32 days or less, then it is likely that you'll get a definitive answer. Depending on the sensitivity of the test, when the embryo implanted, and the usual length of your cycle, it could take longer to show up. Your symptoms sound very promising to me! I hope this is it for you!

I agree with all the pp's.  Did you test OP?  Update us!
