Awesome maternity bra!! « Back to Group Discussions

I am sure the mamas with kiddos already know what they like, but as a first time mama, I was feeling like I needed a nice comfy bra to sleep in, because as soon as I took my bra off, I was feeling the pain in my boobs!  I was wearing a cami with a built-in bra to bed, but it was a little big and didn't really do the trick.  I knew that I needed something for the rest of my pregnancy and I found an AWESOME bra at Target yesterday!!  If anyone is looking for something like this, it was only $15 at Target and is great for nursing, too!!  Here is the link: http://www.basicsbybravado.com/products/emma-sleep-nursing-bra I am still wearing it and don't ever want to take it off!  It is the most comfortable bra I have ever worn and my boobs haven't hurt at all since I put it on... I love Hot Milk.  They are really well made and so comfortable.  I get them on zuliliy when they have them on there for a great price, otherwise they are $$$.  But I love the fit so I have like 5.  LOL!  Plus they make big cup sizes with small band sizes which is what I am.  It was super hard to find my size in maternity/nursing until I looked through the expensive brands.  Plus they put 6 loops on them so you can continue wearing the same bra as your ribcage expands and shrinks again so long as your cup size doesn't change that is.

Right now I'm wearing my Victoria's Secret wireless ipex (I think that's what it's called).  It's the only that's still comfortable, but I don't think it's going to last much longer.  My boobs are growing like crazy.

I had disregarded the whole sleep nursing bra because we nightweaned DS in July, but I think I need to get one for my own comfort.

My breasts haven't grown at all, actually they're shrinking as my milk supply dwindles - they are smaller than they were before I had ds, and my smallest bra is way too big in the cup :(

I really love the Bravado Body Silk seamless nursing bra, and may get one in a smaller size, in addition to a sleep bra or two.  I loved it because the cup size is really flexible and stretchy, so it fit great during pg, when my milk increased in volume and through all my struggles with oversupply, and even after when my supply had regulated.

I am just wearing one of the basic 3 pack sports bras by Hanes bought at a cheapy mart for $10. It's comfy.

If I get cold though and my nipples get hard - it really hurts. I remember I experienced this before though.

Does anyone know of any good nursing/maternity bras that go up to F/G/H size cups (with a 32 band)? I have one usable bra now that I've grown and it feels like I'm wearing armor - it's not comfortable at all.

Yeah, Hot Milk, Anita, Panache, Bella, Le Mystere all go up to H in a 32 band.  I'm pretty sure Cake lingerie goes to a 32J.

I tried an Anita bra at Nordstrom (the fit was funny) and Le Mystere is what makes me feel like I'm wearing armor. I'll check out the others. Thanks so much!

I wore the Bravado body silk in Large, and it was perfect, and I was a 32/34 J with DS during the end of my pg and early breastfeeding.  I am now a 32 d (barely!)

Do you have a local maternity boutique you could shop?
