I used Pat in Ocean Springs for my first two children. Right after I found out that I was expecting my third I contacted her, but she couldn't take me as she was moving to Guam to be with her husband. I looked her up not long ago and found her practicing in Hawaii.

I was born on the coast. I've delivered my children in Ocean Springs, Lucedale, and Gulf Port while in MS. At the time that I lived there, she was the only Midwife as far as I know. I see now that there are several in the Coastal vicinity and was wondering if any of you would mind answering some questions? I would appreciate it. I am currently in Oklahoma.....and have had a time with finding care here. What are your credentials? How many births have you attended? Do any of you practice at a hospital/birth center/ or home birth? Does anyone deliver/attend someone who has had four natural vaginal births followed by an emergency c-section and then three scheduled c-sections after? I am looking for VBA4C.....after birthing vaginally 4 times :)

I am at the point of unassisted here, as I can't find anyone that the hospitals will allow to attend my birth after 4 sections.

Thank you very much for your help and information. Oh, I should mention that we are not against a hospital VBA4C, nor are we against a home birth....we ARE against a scheduled c-section.

If need be, I would travel "home" to birth our baby naturally.
