Can anyone recommend a good space heater?

My friend has an Eden Pure that she likes.  They are supposed to take little energy, and they dont get hot to the touch so they're safe around kids.   I only wish they had an air filter in them.  If anyone knows of a space heater with an air filter let me know!

Edit- after reading some customer reviews I am not sure I would go with the Eden Pure, it seems to be overpriced and does not heat a large area well.  Probably go with something similar but cheaper....

Yes I read the same about the EdenPURE. But it has a Air Purification filter, I would like to find some more information on it. I wouldn't mind the extra hundred bucks if it really makes a difference in air quality. In this EdenPURE review ( http://electric-heaters-review.com/edenpure-gen4-quartz-heater-review ) they are quite sceptical about it.

In my humble opinion, oil-filled radiators are the best choice, because they don't get too hot so the baby can burn him/herself unlike other infrared or ceramic heaters with exposed elements.

subbing.

We need a space heater for DD's room because its far from the wood stove and has 12' tall ceilings. Im looking for something safe that can be elevated so that the cord is not accessible to her, as she is moving to a toddler bed and could get up in the night and I want the cord far far away.
