i know we already "know" each other, many of us spending a long nine months together, but i thought it'd be nice to reacquaint ourselves with each other.

Hi everyone!

I had my first kiddo in May. We were "due" May 15 and had our baby on May 26. We planned a homebirth, but after nearly 3 days of labour, things ended in a cesarean section. Desmond Philip was born at around 8 lbs. Since then, he's grown like gangbusters and at almost 3.5 months is over 18 lbs already.

My husband, Desmond, and I live in Wisconsin in a tiny apartment with a 7 year old corgi who still cannot believe we had a baby.

Hey guys, glad we have a chance to reconnect. Been super busy with my 4 month old, baby girl, Elliot. She's such an easy baby. I'm Stacey, by the way. I had a water birth at a birth center with a midwife. 6.5 hours of labor from start to finish! Much better than the 43 hours I endured with my son. Married for 7 years to DH and we have an almost 3 year old boy as well! Ugh, life goes by way too quick with children.

I'm Beth and I haven't been active much on the boards since I had Ella, but it's nice to be "back"--so thank you for sending the invitation, Samstress! :)

In addition to Ella (who was born May 7), I also have Emmalee (8 years old) and Evan (5 years old).  Now that they're both in school, I might have a little more time to keep up with MDC. :)  Ella is taking a short nap right now so I took the opportunity to finally join this group and scarf down a turkey sandwich! ;)
