I just found this when doing a google search.  How fun does this look?

I am going to try sending a post card to whatever I'm assigned and see what happens.

Is anyone else registered with them?  I think this will be great for DS and some exciting geography this year!

I thought it sounded like fun and signed up two years ago. Then my first assigned person had a three paragraph list of specifications--no humour, no touristy, no animals; nothing home made; art, but not just any art--it was some specific era, I don't remember now. This totally turned me off. I didn't have hours for searching, and it was obvious a simple postcard wouldn't be a good fit.

I've been thinking about it again, as the kids are older and might be interested in participating.

They can 'request' all they want.  I went to walmart and purchased 50 postcards, 5 different types, 10 each and DS picks from there.  I got so many because I was planning on doing the Swap on here.  

The way I look at it, we are sending post cards all over the world.  Today they went out to Russia, Finland, Chicago (lol), portugal and Germany.  Anything with American Southwest on it should be good.

Its not like you get a rating system if they like your card or not.  THey just log it as received and move on.   Our homeschool group is thinking about doing this as well- on a family level.   My son loves it and now is anxiously waiting his turn to get mail.

I just signed up!  I like that people can put preferences, but that's all they are.  I will do my best with what I've got!

I am curious how much it costs to send postcards everywhere, I guess I will find out today.
