Why is there a huge ad for vaccines on the forums pages?

Mothering Magazine first introduced me in 1997 to the notion that vaccines may be something I'd want to reconsider for my children. So why is there an ad campaign for one on the banner?

We have pharmaceuticals placed in a filter for our ad networks but sometimes an ad like that will get through. If you could get a screenshot and the URL for the ad I can report it and get it removed. Thanks! :)

I also am disappointed to see a lot of the ads like right now there is a ad displaying for fanta soda and tontino's pizza stuffers? Junk food ads and other things which are kind of against the feel of the forum makes it feel very commercial.

I agree, processed foods are often what we moms are so against in the world... the babies in the ad are cute. But, I am not buying them any time soon.

As I write this there is a series of Coca-Cola "family game night" commercials running along the banner plus a vtech video game ad. I have no idea how to copy this to post, not technically gifted that way! But I'm really irritated by it all. Every time I come on to the site, it's something else that is not in keeping with the whole "Mothering" philosophies. Damn, I miss the magazine.

There is a link in the Questions & Suggestions sticky about reporting ads. Some ads are regional so not everyone will see what you see. If you are able to help us by following the reporting procedure we have in place, click that link and send the email as outlined. That is the best way to bring about a removal of inappropriate ads.
