I wore a pair of super cute maternity jeans from H&M today, and it was great.
I have a pair of denim trousers (with a pretty huge flare) from the Gap that I'm waiting to fit into :D I'm just a bit bloated now, not showing, and I definitely don't fill it out enough to wear it yet.
I was thinking of getting a Bella Band but I really wonder if it'll work. I really like my normal jeans.
I don't want anything to do with maternity pants. Unfortunately, I'll have to at some point. I found them to be super super comfy for the first 2-3 months, then the elastic starts to stretch out on them and then they keep sliding down. There is nothing I hate more than having to hike up my pants every 15 steps (especially if I'm carrying something up stairs- like two 35 lb toddlers- then you end up doing the legs-spread waddle to keep your pants from ending up around your ankles).
I was thinking at first that I'd need to get into mat pants really early, because at 6 weeks my pants were getting tight... but all my chub kinda moved up a bit in the last week and now everything buttons fine again. Weird.
Everyone I know who has used a belly band loves it. And they are useful even with maternity pants that keep sliding down! I hate to full panel ones that do that. Overall I hate maternity clothes.... I think I am going to look for comfy/warm dresses...
I had a pair of chords from old navy maternity that I loved! but ave them away. :(
I swore by the belly band when I was pregnant with my son. I only had one pair of maternity pants (that totally slid down so I used the belly band on them, too!), but was able to wear my regular pants along with the belly band through the very last day of the pregnancy.
I am totally going to get one of these!
