Bree - cutting the junk should make a huge difference.  I still get cravings for processed foods, and it's hard to stay away.

 

Peony - You can do it!!  Having the jeans is motivation like no other.  Jeans are just one of those things, huh?

 

AFM - stepped on the scale this am (my weigh in day isn't til Fri) and liked what I saw!  155.6!  I know by Friday it'll go up but as long as I don't gain this week I'll be happy.  I'm not exercising at ALL b/c of Halloween and DH being gone.  I see now how it is for you guys -- no DH means no treadmill time, not even 20 min!  I took the kids for a walk today but I was so tired it was a short one.  It was a lazy, slow, doesn't count kind of walk.  

 

Erica (and anyone else doing WW) - how many points do you think pizza w/no cheese but only veggies and sauce is?  I'm estimating 4-5 per slice, is that too low you think?  Normal white crust, not deep dish or anything.  It can't be much more than that, right?

I think that's a little high, actually.  A slice of regular cheese pizza with no other toppings is 4 pts according to the ww app pizza cheat sheet.  I'd go with 2-3 pts per smallish slice with no cheese and just sauce/veggies.  the only part with pt value is the bread and probably a little oil.

 

I will try to come back on later and take part in more of the discussion.  For now...had a GREAT weigh-in today! 4 lbs lost!!

Ok, according to the app (forgot about that cheat sheet!) adding olives, pineapple, and peppers makes it 8 points with cheese.  So, take off, what, 2-3 for cheese?  Why are veggies counting?  B/c it's on pizza?  No fair.  

 

Whatever.  I have enough points.  I just wonder what it actually counts as.  I had 3 slices though.  shy.gif

2-3 is about right for cheese.  IDK why they're assigning pts to the veggies.  Olives-yes.  Peppers-um...no.

I'm going to get back to journaling my food on this thread.  I think it helps me stay accountable when someone is actually able to read my food journal, instead of it being my private thing.

 

But, first...this thread is getting REALLY long.  So I think we should go to having a new one monthly.  I've started a November thread here, where I posted my stats for today.
