FEEL GOOD- Magnolia Slept TWELVE Hrs last night. I laid her down at 6 thinking she would be up shortly for one last feeding. When we got up this morning she was still her her clothes from yesterday.

COMPLAINT- Silly me stayed up until the wee hours of the morning so I only got about 4. Wish I could say I was being productive, but unless productivity includes sitting on the couch chatting on FB, I cannot.

feel good: i only had to change 1 diaper yesterday

complaint: i felt like crap most of the day so i didn't really get to enjoy it. 

feel good: i feel better today and got my first workout in a week today. i feel so much more motivated and energetic when i work out

Stormy, I'm sorry you didn't get to enjoy some serious sleep along with your sweet little Magnolia. Although some nights, I almost think it's better to take that quiet time for ourselves. We can sleep when we're dead! But just to have time to not be needed, and not be productive... So often I feel like I just go go go, always doing something. Especially being Magnolia's sole care provider while your DH is away. I am sorry you missed out on the sleep, but glad that you still took that time for YOU!

And Kyla, so sorry to hear that you have been feeling crummy. It's so hard to deal with feeling less than our best with littles around But I'm glad to hear that you got in some exercise. Any time we can take for ourselves is a good thing!

complaint- exhausted, physically and emotionally - feel like DH has been checking out lately- made a comment this weekend "DO I have to watch the baby ALL afternoon?"  -it's calling him 'the baby" that got to me - if i need to eat or shower lately he'll often say things like "Am I going to have to walk around with him all night?"  and complains about the 15 minutes he carries him a day- I weigh about 100 pounds less than him and carry "the baby" ALL day- and night- how do you think my body feels these days?????  

Feel good- hmmm- nice weather this week - LO is sitting here not crying right now- that's good

Nald, I often feel like a freaking pack animal!!!  That would get to me too.  It can be so frustrating to be met with anything less than complete support, when all you're asking is for your partner to do what you do ALL day for just 20 or 30 minutes.  You have my sympathies mama!

yay I'm so glad! I had a feeling on Doctor Day and with taking the bus and whatnot you would be in need of a decent meal. Pizza and whatever you can grab one handed from the fridge while holding a needy babe gets depressing after a while.
