Need urologist recommendation!

Spent some 'fun' times in the ER with kidney stones. I was referred to the hospital's urology department but will likely need to find a different urologist because of ins.

Any recommendation would be great!

TIA!

When I was having some issues last pregnancy, my midwives referred me to Dr. Lisa Hawes at Central Maryland Urology Assoc. in Columbia. They said she's the best around for lots of womens' issues. She specializes in pelvic floor restoration. Others in her practice do more with kidney stones---don't know how much she does.

I really liked her bedside manner and her willingness to consider lots of different views and options about how to treat.

Hope you feel better soon!

Thanks Allofgrace! Dr. Hawes sounds great - This is the very practice that was reccomened, unfortunately they don't accept my ins.

Thankfully I'm no longer experiencing any symptoms so a followup is not urgent. Being pregnant anyway there's not a whole lot they'd be able to do.

I would still like to followup with someone to at least discuss preventative measures I can take.

Thanks for your reply!
