Today I have been craving salt. Bad. To be fair, I'm getting my infusions, and have to drink a LOT of water. I can't keep down flat water or most electrolyte drinks right now, so I've been having mineral water. I also can't get saline during my infusions, because it is incompatible with the meds. So, I get dextrose in water. By dinner today, I was totally craving salt. I had some garlic bread, and still wanted salt. DH switched me from water to my pregnancy tea, and got me some fries. I'm guessing my electrolytes were probably a bit off if I was craving salt, which I really never crave like that.
I think I need to have him stop by the health food store to find some healthier salty options for the next couple of days. The tea will help with potassium, and I don't really like eating table salt. We eat Real Salt at home most of the time. Otherwise, though, the hunger has been much better recently. It is easier to pick healthy snacks when you don't feel positively starving all of the time.
