Hey Baby Cakes let us know how it goes. I'm interested to see if there's something that can help us as well. The reflux got so bad that he wasn't sleeping. I took everything out of my diet except for rice then slowly added things in giving them each a three day trial. The only things he didn't react to were turkey and quinoa. I can't physically just eat turkey, rice and quinoa for the next 3 years. Or even the next few months. I have him partially on formula until I can figure this out. He sleeps now, and barely cries at all. Wish my BM was safe for him

Omg that sounds like he is really suffering.  I forget, is he on medication?  Hugs, mama.  It's never easy to supplement.  I hear you.  What formula are you trying?

No, not on medication. I decided against it, because my first had the same problem and we tried everything. It was terrible for the first 2 years and when we weaned at 2.5 years, all the problems went away. And I keep wondering if the medication made it worse. I will never know, but I don't want to go through the same thing with this one. I am still physically exhausted and sleep deprived from my first DS.

AS far as formula - DH and I chose Alimentum because it's hypoallergenic (we have milk allergies). The protiens are broken down so it's more easily digestible for him. Also out of all the hypoallergenic formulas out there, the liquid version was the only one that didn't have corn or corn syrup. Only the liquid version though. It's not ideal, but it's my only shot at trying to figure this out. I'm hoping he gets better as he grows and then he can be EBF again.
