Anyone try a lot of SSCs before you found the right one?

My stash of SSCs feels a little ridiculous, especially because I want to try *just one more* in hopes of finding the right one. I have a Pikkolo with waist belt, Beco Butterfly II and a very old Ergo Sport, none of which are quite perfect...and so I want to try a Beco Gemini (nowhere near here to try one on, so I'd be buying.)

Is four SSCs getting kind of crazy?

Umm... I hope not? 

I have shuffled through a few.... I still have my go-to toddler kinderpack, a babyhawk Oh Snap, a Nana's Jetpack, a preschool size carrier I adore (I made this one, and it is my absolute favorite for above 40 lbs or so) 

Then we have the wraps, and the mei tais, and the onbu.... 

And NOW I need to get another couple good tiny baby options... (ok, want, not need...) but I need to sell off a couple of the toddler carriers to finance that.

I have a Gemini and love it. It's perfect for little babies because you can snap it at the bottom to make it smaller and not have to worry about froggying the legs. It also can cross in the back so it gives you great support.
I used it a lot for DD right up to 23 pounds and it was still supportive and comfortable but I really don't enjoy it for a back carry, I have a bamberoo that is so amazingly comfortable that I pick that one most often.
I haven't checked recently but you may be able to get a used one on thebabywearer
