Bajingo Juice turned into a Bun in the Oven - TTC #1 in our 30's Graduates - Fall 2011 - Page 14

I was also wondering about Tank - just dropped in to see if there was an update from her!

Still feeling pretty yucky, but I've found one food I can tolerate: Pringles. I ate half the canister this morning (had a little watermelon, too, which tasted pretty good). I have to go back to work tomorrow and I am just dreading it. Saw that one of the women in my DDC had a missed miscarriage, so of course now I'm worried about that. I can't wait for our appointment on the 30th.

Tear, thanks for commiserating. It's good to know that people do come out the other side of this awfulness. I'm going to have DH pick up some sour candies so I can take them to work tomorrow. If that doesn't work, I'll try the Preggie Pops.

Birdie, all this talk of birth plans and hospitals and names is making me so excited for you! Are you keeping the names a secret? DH and I have had a few conversations about names. We had no trouble coming up with possible girl names, but if it's a boy, we're screwed. Right now, we're calling the baby Blueberry because I read that it's the size of a blueberry this week.

Hey guys I am still here although hopefully not for long.  I had a non stress test this morning and it was the most annoying thing I have ever done.  First they couldn't find the heartbeat.  I was a bit freaked out even though he gave me a big kick on my way into the exam room.  Then once they found it they couldn't keep it on the monitor with just the thing strapped down and I had to hold it hard agaist my belly.  I had to do this for like 30-45 minutes.  It sucked.  Anyway he was doing just fine with that.  I had some bloody show very early this morning and then some leaking that I can't figure out if it is my mucus plug or my water leaking so I am going to the midwife this afternoon so she can take a look.  I am also getting sick...  good timing huh.  I am sure I'll be home afterwards because I am not contracting regularly so I will let you guys know what she says.  I am in such a bad mood after that stupid appointment with the doctor this morning I just want this over with.

hi ladies reading along with you all - such exciting things happening!

i am freaking out a little bit because i had (TMI) some brown discharge when i wiped this morning.  i of course called my ob's office and they had me come in for a blood test wait wait waiting by the phone to hear what my levels are.  i am going back on wednesday and friday to check for doubling and then if all goes well an ultrasound next week.  sorry to just dump that on all of you but besides DH and my mom I don't really want to tell anyone you know.  the good thing is that since this morning i have not had any more spotting or anything so crossing fingers and trying to stay relaxed.  thank you thank you thank you for letting me vent!

tank - woohoo for bloody show! I bet the next we hear from you, you have a baby in arms, or definitely on the way smile.gif

Caly - we were the same with name choices. We had a firm girl name picked before we even got a BFP. When the u/s showed a boy, we were like - oh crap.

birdie - Hunger and naps really ramped up for me in the last few days before Kayden arrived smile.gif

reelala - That must have been so scary greensad.gif If it helps any, brown blood is the best kind, it means it's old blood and not fresh. I know you'll feel much better once the hcg numbers come in though!

AFM- Kayden is officially teething greensad.gif I had to cave and give him infant's tylenol today. I'm hoping DH can pick up an amber teething necklace tonight when he gets off work - and that it actually helps!

so yah it was my water that broke so I am on my way to the hospital. It may be a while before I have my babe though since I am not having regular contractions yet.  Just wanted to stop by and tell you guys.  YAY!

GO TANK!  sending you happy labor vibes!

thank you for the pick me up living sky.  i know once i see good #'s i'll feel way better.

Birdie.lee - Glad to hear your hospital tour went well!  Picking names sounds fun...except of course when you can't agree.

Caly - Yay for Pringles and watermelon!  I know its really hard not to worry (I'm on the worry train, too) but your levels were good.  Everything will be ok.

tank -   So sorry about your doctors appt., but otherwise so excited for you!  joy.gif  Happy Babe Day!

reelala - LivingSky is right.  Brown is good.  I had (TMI alert) brown with teeny brown blood clot looking things for 3 days and went in and all was good.  The cervix gets crazy blood vessels on it so after (TMI alert) BDing I would spot too.  Weird.   I'm sure everything is good for you.

LivingSky - I hope the amber teething ring gives Kayden relief.  (Will have to look that up.)  I know its hard to give them medicine, but teething looks painful.

I was afraid my post would've showed up 3 times - I was trying to use the ancient net book we have and it was acting weird.  Trying to post more, but ugh that was awful. DH finished school early so I could check in.

Hope all is well with everyone!  smile.gif

I'm thinking of you, Tank, I hope it goes well!

Birdie too, I'm glad you're feeling comfortable now with the change in plans.

Pictures are here: Raven Brisa

She was 8 lb 2 oz, labor was difficult but mostly manageable, she was jaundiced but now is getting better and we're learning to nurse.  It wasn't exactly like I imagined . . . I hope everyone approaching their DD has an easier time.  I will eventually post the story.

It's quiet in here! Hope everything went well, Tank, and that you're enjoying a beautiful babymoon!

Birdie, any luck with the natural induction methods? My boss is one of the few people I told about the pregnancy early on (I'm really glad I did, since I had to take some time off for morning sickness - she's been wonderful about it). I told my other coworkers yesterday. They did an ultrasound for me, so I saw the baby for the first time. It doesn't look like much right now, but it was exciting to actually see that yes, there is a baby in there! It measured a little smaller than expected (7w0d instead of 7w3d), but I know there's a substantial margin of error and our machine is old and not particularly sensitive, so I'm trying not to worry about it.

Reelala, I hope the spotting turned out to be nothing. FWIW, when I miscarried I didn't have any brown blood, just red.

Caly - so excited you got to see a baby growing in there!  I know its hard not to worry, but you already said with older machines its harder.  Plus, baby;s growing they just can't tell.

Birdie - hows it going?

Can't wait to hear how Tank is doing.

It is a little bit quiet and I can actually get online more this week...hehe

AFM just add to the worry list.  I have been taking Proventil off/on thinking it was ok because my dr. gave it to me when I asked to switched to 'safe' meds, but I just checked by change and its cat. C.  NaturallY I am freaking out a bit, but just like the cheese there isn't a thing I can do about it now.

Hi everyone!
