Im  trying to do at LEAST one thing a day just for me.  And a reminder always helps.  Today I went for a walk - alone - whie my dad stayed with the kiddos.

I try to do something every day too. I know its going to be even more important once DH goes to basic training for the army, but also harder to come by.

Today I made sure I had a shower before DH left for work. That was pretty much all I've been able to do for myself today.

I made muffins. DS was fussing while I was making them so I put him in the sling but it didn't help. I finished making them anyways 'cause I needed chocolate and it was the only way I'd be able to get it. (Couldn't make brownies cause out of butter and only had cocoa, no chocolate candy.) They were worth it in the long run, though.

It's been a few days since I've had a shower. I could def use one, but DH has school and work the next two days so he doesn't have much time to watch Liam.

Today, just for me, I got 80% of a new coat sewn for DD. I have to fix one thing on it tomorrow and finish it off, but I managed to get some sewing time. That's my goal, to get in there a little bit at least 5 days a week, as it keeps me sane.

Take the bouncy seat/swing/baby holding device of choice ... in the bathroom. If you're lucky, your DS will sleep b/c the sound of water running is soothing, if not, you just shower fast, and talk to him the whole time :) he'll be ok, and you'll feel like a brand new woman :) multi-tasking like that, having a shower AND watching the baby! I had forgotten about that, and was scheduling showers for late at night when I'd get DD to sleep, and DH was in bed and could listen for her. I finall got sick of going to bed with wet hair, and remembered how well the bouncy seat in bathroom thing had worked with DS :)

This is what I do on a regular basis. I'd be pretty stinky without that bouncy chair!

Today I got on the treadmill for 20 min AND got to take a shower that included shaving my legs! Score! smile.gif

I got a short nap this evening. With Charlie, so that made it take longer to start and end sooner than I'd like (though as soon as we got up, he went to sleep :P)

I'll have to try the bouncy seat in the shower trick. He doesn't seem to like it half the time, but sometimes he does. Tomorrow, too tired right now, as it's just about bedtime.

I second or third the bring baby into the bathroom with you suggestion. I did that with my first and second. This time I'm spoiled because my hubby is home a lot.

Everyday I shower.  I at least do that.  I might just put my sweats back on, and put my hair up wet, but at least I get that nice, hot, soul cleansing shower!

It is :) - then if Im lucky, I can be relaxed enough to try to go to bed at a reasonable hour and catch some of the first sleep stretch.  Doesnt always happen- but sure feels great when I can :)

Today's plan is a nap and a walk in the rain.

Today I did a small instant gratification craft project. (baby leg warmers) though I was making them for Norrie I was thrilled to sit and do something crafty. I also took a shower but I do that about every other day. the difference was that I did this one during he day without DH's help watching the baby. :) I felt super accomplished.

I got a bath by myself!

He usually joins me but didn't wake up.

It was fabulous :)
