Is it possible that my newborn just gave a verbal cue already??

My ds is only 11 days old but I've been catching his poos (and some pees) since day 5 and always making a grunting sound when he poos. As of yesterday, I caught all his poos for the day.  Today, I had just recently caught a poo and so wasn't thinking he needed to go again, but he started getting squirmy and then made a grunting sound.  So I took him to the potty and sure enough he pooped right away.  Was this just my imagination?  I ec'ed dd#2 but didn't start until she was 7 wks old, and I primarily relied on non-verbal cues with her as she didn't usually give me a verbal one.  Is it possible that ds could have been deliberately giving a verbal cue already??  Or is it more likely coincidence? Anyone experience this with a newborn?

Totally common - ours did! It's awesome that you guys already have such a strong communication loop around it! :) Keep it up Mama!
