HELP! Flu mist and 2 mo old

My husband just told me on his way home from work that he got the Flu Mist vax at work today.  We have a 2 mo old at home who is not exclusively breastfed (he is adopted, he gets mostly formula).

So how long does this damn mist shed the live virus?  My husband wants to come home but I told him he can't until he's done being contagious.

Highest shedding was on days 2 and 3. After day 11, virus titers were very low.

My Air Force husband just goes to a civi place and gets the shot. They allow that. We just pay out of pocket for it as we get the mercury free one at the health department.
