Reply to "Ask an Expert" held for moderation?

I asked Dr. Laura Markham a question and got a good response -- I added a reply to thank her and because one of the links she posted didn't work.

The original question wasn't moderated. Is it normal for the follow-ups to be moderated? Or has something funky happened to my account?
