Home Birth practice in Western Kentucky

Hi, all! I just wanted to introduce myself. I recently started a home birth practice in Western KY (Paducah area). I'm willing to drive up to 1 1/2 hours for clients as I know how hard it is to find a midwife in this part of the state.

That is about a 2 1/2 hour drive from me, so unfortunately, I don't think I could travel that far, but thanks for asking. :(

Hi there.  I am located in Bowling Green, but I have family in the Paducah area.  I was looking for a midwife for a home birth, but I deliver VERY fast.  Any suggestions?  I have heard of having "home births" in a hotel jaccuzi suite.  Ever heard of that?

I am so glad to hear this! My husband and I are both from western Ky and are considering moving back there for a couple of years. We live in Louisville now, so I've been pretty spoiled by the "big city," and was anxious about the terrible birthing options in w Ky.
