I'd love to hear from some lincoln county mamas, or ones who have lived there or might have some good info for me.  We need to relocate and some info would be so helpful.

 

Just for a little background, I grew up in tillamook...lived in eugene, klamath falls, and now we're in McMinnville.  My husband lost his job and we need to move out of this rental very soon because it's too expensive.  We're applying for jobs in Eugene, Corvallis, Newport & Lincoln City.  Pretty soon, we're just going to have to pick somewhere to land for a little while.  We know we don't want to stay in McMinnville.

 

I was hoping to get some info on which town might be better for crunchy-ish mama with a toddler.  (not necessarily which town has more jobs)  I guess the main things I'm thinking of are natural food options, quality preschool or daycare (maybe montessori), toddler activities, ...and anything else I hadn't thought of.

 

Also, in either of these towns, are there any good apartments or areas to look for and/or avoid?
