what age did they do it?

my lo will be 24 months here in 2 weeks. she sleeps a good stretch (4 to 6 hours) but we nurse to sleep, and twice in the night. when she is sick or has a stuffy  nose she nurses all night long. i dont mind but dh is getting antsy for her to sleep in her own bed. we sidecarred the crib from the get go. he would probably be happy if she stayed there longer for now.most of his crankiness was bc she got stuffy nosed and kept him up all night. he is always happy to see her there when he wakes up. i tried to nw her by telling her babas were asleep etc, but dh got cranky with the crying. he understands that night nurseing lets him sleep better. lol.

My oldest (now 4) still nurses to sleep but is otherwise nightweaned.  It wasn't his choice, though; I discovered that when his brother was born, I just couldn't nurse two babies all night.  He was suddenly weaned at 2.5.  I wish I would have gently done it before the baby came.

Hindsight, eh?

Not sure what's going to happen with the little one, since he's only 18mo and not showing any interest in nightweaning.  I'll keep an eye on this thread for sure.

Best of luck!
