There are a few in Columbia, I think Dr Beams is one. Not really any in Frederick- from what I have heard, there is none, I never found any when I looked and a chiro in Frederick I took my 8 month daughter to said something like it was hard to find or not very common. I see Dr Lancaster in Ellicott City.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Beams in Columbia. Her philosophy is that she provides the education and guidance, allows the parents to choose what is best for their family (which is the way it should be) and then supports their decisions. We are so grateful to have found her as we hear our friends talk about their horror stories with their peds when they want to make "alternative" choices. Choosing her was one of the best decisions we made for our son. Good luck with your move.

We see Dr. Stern in Highland, he has a similar philosophy to Dr. Beams.  His statement is that he is there to provide information so that the parents can make wise decisions.  I was annoyed to see something about making sure baby is asleep in their own bed in his office, but he and I have discussed safe co-sleeping and he has never made a negative comment to me about it.
