PIC: Rash, Roseola? I'm pregnant! Help!

So Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday my 16mo DD had a low fever.. 100.5 was the highest. She was a little dull and fussy but otherwise normal. No snot, no cough, nothing.

Yesterday (thurs) she got a rash. Fever was gone before rash set in.Rash is splotchy, not lacey.

Today it is a pink, mostly flat rash that spread from back t chest and is lightly sprinkled on her arms and face. 2 lymph nodes are swollen on her neck. I took her to a family doctor today and he was of little help.. He felt like it was viral bit could've been from strep. But mo one has had strep, and she didn't seem to hurt at all.

I'm 22 wks pregnant and freaking because I am not sure if I ever had Roseola and my mom cannot recall it. Will it harm my unborn? What if I never had it? My OB didn't seem concerned and they don't even test for antibodies in exposed women so - is it not a big threat?? Please someone reassure me.

And please comment on the rash. Here is a pic. Should i take her to ER to diagnose it for the sake of my pregnancy? PIC: nwlw2d.png and link

That definitely looks like roseola.

I found this regarding exposure during pregnancy: http://www.pregnancy.org/article/pregnancy-and-roseola-virus

Looks like Roseola to me, no question. My DS had it and it looked exactly like this. The big sign that it's Roseola is that the fever is gone before the rash sets in. That's how I knew what it was in my DS. Found that info in the AAP Book about Babies from Birth to a year old. I think I double-checked it on Dr Sears' site, too.
