I seriously can't get enough to drink! I am so thirsty all the time. Is anyone else? Or am I turning into a camel?

I think I am going to (if I don't already) start sounding like a broken record...BUT, in early pregnancy, your blood volume is increasing dramatically. Your body craves water because it helps boost blood volume.  Try eating a little more salt, giving in the need for lots of water, and consider a supplement (herbal iron) like floradix.  :)

Yes!  Unfortunately, anything but ice cold water makes me gag.  Not a big deal at home, but at work it's difficult.  :(

You are the 2nd person I know to recommend floradix :) I am going to have to try this stuff! I eat a LOT of salt. Only thing I crave really. I know it's bad, but I can't eat much and it's the only thing that tastes good. Glad this is normal though!

Bubblema - can you bring a thermos? I have one of those metal thermoses, the kind where the lid screws on super tight, and it keeps things hot/cold for about 8 hours. You could put some ice in one and refill the water throughout the day.

Bubblema, I'm the opposite - it has to be room temp water haha! I've been drinking a lot of water too...but also a lot of coconut water and almond milk  - yummy!

I'll have to try that.  Luckily, I'm not regularly working 8+ hrs.  Last week my longest days were 5 hrs.  I'm a substitute at a daycare (they call it a "preparatory preschool", but it's just an overpriced daycare.  Anyway, they have certain cups we're supposed to use ever since some dumb-dumb left a cup of hot coffee on a low table and baby spilled it on herself.  I think I could get by with having a thermos of ice though, since I'm only there for a little while.  Hopefully they wouldn't make a big deal about that.

PS, this post just made me realize how much I really dislike this place.  :\

I am so thirsty too!  Which is making me pee all the time too. It's a vicious cycle.....
