weird bug going around

DD started wheezing bad on Friday, then her lips turned blue, hands and feet got cold and blue, she started shaking, so I took her to urgent care. They gave her albuterol, sent us home with that and steroids, and since then, she's doing better but is still sick. Last night she had a fever of about 100 and she's had a tiny bit of the runs for a few days. I'm not sure how much of her symptoms are the bug that's going around, so I thought if anyone else out there has seen this bug you could help me.

We live in a house that has a mold problem (confirmed by the Health Dept's tests/report) and I am going to try to get out of the lease. We've only been here for 3 months and have been sick for most of that time with drippy noses and decreased appetite. It really scared me when she started wheezing so bad. The house has a leaky roof and damp wet basement that floods when it rains.

My neighbor's little boy had a bug last week. His daycare said his lips turned blue, he started shaking, he did have the runs for one night and a fever, and bounced back real fast. I didn't know about anything except the fever until today when I talked to my neighbor again. She said her son didn't have any trouble breathing.

At any rate, I need to get out of this house. Even if the mold is not making her wheeze, it's not helping her get better. Chances are it IS the culprit and she could end up with lifelong asthma if I don't get her out of here or even if I do.

Oh wow - that sounds scary!  I hope she feels better very soon.  I would definitely get out of that place asap!  Mould and dampness is not good at all!

I wish I had some more advice for you!
