Wow, lots going on in here!

Gemmine, I hope today and tomorrow fly by for you so you can test!

Sarahfaith, it's all about staying busy! :)

GradStudent, I think it varies a lot from person to person. I have fertile cm on and off from the end of AF until O. But I think typical is something between 3 and 6 days. Am I right, ladies?

faerie, I feel the same way about testing v waiting. If I'm not pregnant, I'd rather hang out in the happy land of possibility instead of launching into the pre-o stage. So glad to hear your dd is doing better. What an ordeal!

Stevi, here's hoping for a double O!

cbaa, I am getting impatient for your 2ww to pass so I can only imagine how you are feeling! Hurray for no spotting. Fingers crossed!

kylie, Congrats, congrats, congrats!!! LOVE hearing about the bfp!!

Carlin, quite a chart you've got going there! Hoping the days fly by for you.

mkg, I love the pretending to be laid back. lol Strong O vibes coming your way!

AndtheStars, HURRAY for STTN!! That deserves a celebration!! You could celebrate by STTN yourself! lol

gozal, I am so sorry that this month was tough for you. Do whatever you need to do for comfort, be it being chatty or quiet.

Phew!

AFM, CD13 here. I got some EW this morning and had watery the previous few days. I would be hopeful that this is leading up to an earlier O, but last month (as mentioned above) I had intermittent fertile CM between AF and O, so who knows. DH leaves early Saturday morning, so late Friday is our last BD chance. Here's hoping!

My DH's best friend just found out his wife is pregnant and it would be so much fun to have babies at roughly the same time as them! Would love for this to be our cycle! I'm remembering that with my son's conception our BDing happened several days before Oing (I was traveling during O) so maybe DHs swimmers are tenacious. lol

my iPad didn't update so I missed your posts!
Gemmine- no fretting about negatives at 9 dpo, and I would love swollen gums & sore nips! only a few more days! Thanks for chart stalking. I got crosshairs today, had to change my super high 'tossed and turned& temped an hour late' temp from Saturday. But with the shot & everything, clearly I didn't o Friday, silly fertility friend.

Sarah faith- cooking really does pass the time well... How many more days til we can poas? Whatcha cooking/baking? DH is out of town for the night & I'm off today... Need some ideas!

Congrats, Kylie!!!  I'm really really happy for you!

I hope to hear of some more BFPs from others soon!

Oh, you guys. Thank you so much for all the kind thoughts! AndtheStars, I'd really rather be alone in Slight Devastation Land but since you're there too, I am so glad to have you as a buddy.

Carlin, I hope this weekend is full of surprises of the small and potentially cute variety!

cbaa, POAOPK - thank you, I needed that smile! So glad the spotting is staying away. Fingers crossed. I'm talking no blood flow to the fingers, that's how hopeful I am. Gemmine, you too. My poor fingers.

Sarahfaith, baking and x-stitch - now you're talking. I've been trying to distract myself with fall/winter knitting. I like to think that way too - what is my little potential blastocyst doing this dpo?

Faerieliss, what a trooper - you and DD both, actually! You know, it's funny, back when I didn't have any ttc worries, I was very cautious about early POAS-ing. Now that some highly improbable wrenches have been thrown into our dreams, I just POAS away. Funny how our minds work. Also I discovered super-sensitive, super-cheap hpts, thank you Amazon.

cbaa2010...   I think my chart misleads everyone about my EWCM. FF needs a percentage or quantity choice, as I normally mark EWCM when I find a slight drop or smidgeon of stretchy stuff mixed with my normal CM. I seem to only get occassional patches here and there of real good fertile stuff, which normally occurs right around ovulation, like the day before or of.

AAM...    I may have had a darkening OPK this morning, I'm not positive as I had to leave before it was dry, and I have an easier time interpreting them when dry. Anyway, I shall try to BD tonight after school, but it may be difficult to line someone up.

Think Fertile Thoughts!

Hey everyone! Thanks for the feedback on how much fertile CM I can expect to see before I O. . .it has helped me feel a little less stressed about the 3 days of fertile CM with no sign of O. . .

I am really feeling like O is right around the corner, maybe Friday? Still getting zip from my OPKs, although I read today that you are supposed to do them late morning (which is what I did today but not what I have been doing the last couple of days). How much stock should I be putting in my OPKs? If I get the temp spike tomorrow does that mean I Oed even though my OPK was negative?

busy on here today! love it!  i have my home laptop with me at work today so i am able sneak away a bit heh heh heh

gozal what are you knitting? are you on ravelry? i am working on a x stitch bib (almost done) and two blankets - one for a friends baby and one for us luxlove.gif

cbaa must be a massachusetts thing with the cooking! banana bread, apple cake, chicken pot pies (for the freezer!) plus red sauce and meatballs.  i love that the cooking and baking takes my mind off everything. 8 days until we can POAS (this goes for you too traci!)

there's also been an increase in my hallmark movie watching on the weekends while i cook/craft Sheepish.gif

gemmine sending goodvibes.giffor a BFP - your symptoms sound so good!

Sorry everyone but this is going to be AAM first:

So last night I had red spotting like AF was starting.  This is only slightly unusual for me.  I usually start with medium to heavy flow but last month it started with spotting so maybe this is my new norm.  So put on a pad, went to bed, woke up the morning, nothing on the pad.  Checked my cervix, because, you know, that's what I do and nothing.  It's firmish and normal.  So what it going on?  Please don't tell me to POAS because I'm too scared to hope and see a BFN and know that my body is finding new and interesting ways to eff with me.  Help?

Gemmine, swollen gums and sore nips scream big fat BFP to me.  The excitement I have for your test is killing me.

cbaa, so to kill time in the 2WW, you could come to my house and cook delicious food.  Are you veggie?  I forget.  I would make veggie chili (or w/ meat if you roll that way) and cornbread.  I'm making yummy yummy indian spiced chicken on the grill tonight that has been marinating in the fridge for 2 days.

Carlin, super hot chart!  Ever since your first high temp, I've been convinced you are pregnant.  Seriously can't wait until you test.

Everyone else, I'm so distracted by my disappearing AF that I can't do personals now.  Sorry!

sarah and cbaa: Autumn has yet to arrive here, but I have a big ol' Excel sheet full of fall recipes that I can't wait to try! Y'all are getting me excited!

AndtheStars: Before I yell POAS!!!!!111, how many DPO are you again?

I'm also ravenously hungry Sheepish.gif but that could be a PMS symptom too.

Reading all the symptoms, signs, etc. makes me want to chime in! I'm super exhausted (not like me) and a bit crampy here and there...some occasional breast soreness....bloated...ravenous...and you know, just about all of it could be attributed to pms. sigh. AF is due on the 6th or 7th, so Here's to hoping for a BFP!

AndtheStars: I have been excited for you (regardless of what you report) this cycle and now I'm really really excited! Super fingers crossed!

To all of you crafters: please share photos! I started a thread all about that! Constructive Frustration, I want to see all of you beautiful creations! And to those of you who love to cook and bake: take pics of that and share there, too!

AFM DH and I have been BDing every 36 hours since Friday and plan to continue until fertile cm is done. I haven't taken another opk, so we're just going for it.

Gemmine, I'm 14 DPO.  I don't want to POAS because I couldn't stand to see the BFN and have AF start for real 2 hours later.  How about this...we can both POAS on Friday?  Maybe I can psych myself up for a BFN by then.  Or AF is going to show up for real in 2 hours and it won't even be an issue.

sapientia, I'm so sorry I didn't add you to the list yet...I'm usually much more on top of things.  Hopefully, I can move you to graduates in another week!  Welcome!

Andthestars, Friday sounds like a great PingOAS day! I think if AF doesn't show up by then, you won't have to worry about a BFN!

Gemmine, your chart looks fabulous! Combined with those symptoms, I think there's a very good chance you'll be looking at a BFP soon!

Faerieliss, if AF stays away for both of us, wanna be my POAS buddy Sunday? Sheepish.gif

Sapientia, sounds like promising symptoms!

Cbaa, burrow little blastocysts, burrow!

I had a bunch more, but Mothering ate my post and now I can't remember most of it! I love how busy the thread has been today though!

AFM, really nothing new. I wish I had some real symptoms to report but nothing exciting is happening here. I need to run to the drug store and buy toilet paper this evening, and I'm debating whether or not to by a pregnancy test too. I don't know if I can resist the temptation to POAS if they are sitting here in the house!

AndtheStars: How long is your normal LP?? If it's usually 14 days long then we have a deal and can POAS Friday. POAS BUDDY!

Carlin: That's exactly why I have forced myself not to buy any! I know myself too well. It's bad enough having digital OPKs around taunting me. Friday and Sunday are approaching!

Thanks for the welcome and good luck everyone!!!

It has been hard to keep up today!

I'm excited for the weekend & hopeful for you AndTheStars- disappearing AF sounds like just what you need! Now I can't wait for Friday, waiting on a double whammy from you and Gemmine!

Soo Uhhh Carlin.... did you buy those tests... did you try one out?

I tried to take a picture of my spicy roasted yams to show you what I was up to today but it won't open, bummer. Let's leave it at it was delicious. I didn't do as much resting today as I was planning on. I spent most of my morning watching the whole season of Awkward (inappropriate by the way), then the rest of the day with my sister and niece. I think sleep is going to be the best thing for me. Is it the 9th yet? How long til my HCG shot wears off and I can start POAS? I mean... not that I plan on POAS before my blood test or anything.... nooo I wouldn't do that. Oh AndTheStars- I'm a carnivore, switched to organic meats and dairy for TTC, plus I love to cook and bake- cook now more than bake since I'm trying to avoid junk--- yah minus the package of Oreos I polished off since Saturday, epic fail.

kylie--- where is our picture to swoon over?

Cbaa, Nope, didn't buy the tests, or the toilet paper for that matter, which may be more problematic. I'm still determined to only test if AF stays away until Sunday. Spicey roast yams sound delicious! I've been mostly keeping the cooking simple as I'm trying to spend my spare time getting the garden brought in before we get a really serious frost, but I need to cook at least one decent meal this weekend before DH goes away for a week.

Ahhhh loving it here so much today!

I think it has been a few hours since we've heard from you andthestars I am hoping that is because AF has disappeared and you are in la la and about POAS.  I can't wait for Friday so that you and Gemmine can show us the goods!

Speaking of Gemmine, you're going to have to share that excel sheet of yours - I love new recipes

It looks like the cycle buddy list is growing - from what I can remember me, cbaa, traci and sapientia are all 5-6DPO.  Who and I leaving out...anyone else? The countdown is on 8 days until we can POAS (or earlier if you want).  I'll be pretty jeal as I am refusing to even buy a 'stick' until October 7th at which point I am going to get a fancy digital to scream PREGNANT at me.  If it dares to say NOT PREGNANT AF will get an earful from me when she arrives.

Wednesday night confession: I bought a maternity tank from Target tonight - it was on sale for $2.98 and I couldn't resist Sheepish.gif

I took inspiration from Stevi and AndTheStars and switched up my Avatar. Hoping this month I found the missing link to the puzzle.

sarahfaith- I'm only 3dpo, but I am thinking about testing on the 7th as well, unless I get too scared. I do want to test before my blood test on the 9th... depends how I feel and if I have any spotting at that point. I want a maternity tank! I have a few baby things, but I have refused to buy any maternity things until I know I'll be wearing them!

Yep, I am 6 dpo and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't imagining any symptoms yet.  Today all day I "feel" dull cramping or sometimes twinges really low on the left side.  Yeah, I know, it's WAAAAY too early and I know it must be just my imagination (or just caused by something else).  I told myself I wouldn't imagine symptoms while TTC #2 like I did TTC #1.  Oh well.  shrug.gif

Sounds like there are some exciting things going on with others!  Can't wait to read others' posts tomorrow!!!
