. I've been battling seriously injured nipples since he latched on strong but shallow at the hospital, and stayed there for hours at a time! Now he hours from one breast to the other at least twice in a feed...kept me up 5 straight hours the other night and then every hour on the hour after...ouch!! Anyone else dealt with cracked and bleeding nipples? I just want done assurance that they will actually heal eventually. This kid is kicking my behind!
I have definately cried quite a bit with this whole experience. I think I just expected it to go thoughwell because I'm a CLE who has helped hundreds of moms with positioning and latch, etc...it's so encouraging that you were able to bf so long after all the trauma, and I realize that we are not even 3 weeks in yet though it feels like a lifetime. I've just got to be patient it seems.
