So lay it on me - the good, the bad and the ugly.
Currently we live in Colorado - have for the last 20 years, I am originally from LI,NY and dh is from AK. Dh will be transferred in Januaryish and we will follow - we have a senior, Sophmore and 7th grader. The Senior will finish here but will move with us. The 7th grader has never been to a traditional school, he's currently in a public experiential learning school, has never had a report card and is glass blowing this week. I have a part time job that I will be leaving. We eat pretty local, love to bike and hike. My kiddos are mostly vaxed but we haven't been to a doc for them in years. Haven't needed it. We even had the Chiro do my middle kid's sports physical. So that's us.
