Check doulamatch.net or DONA.org for doulas who might be able to work with you!  Good luck!

You will want to try and hunt down a "Doula in Training"  - in order to be a certified doula  (and be listed with DONA or CAPPA)  they must have attended at least three births - some doulas in training will keep their costs very low in order to get these three qualifying births.  That doesnt make them bad or even inexperienced , some doulas work for years before deciding to complete their official certification.  Because its a non-medical position, you do not have to be certified in order to work.

If you have any doula groups in your area - call or e-mail them and ask for a referral to a Doula In Training.

Good Luck!
