awesome!! You are a hypno-guru :) My hubs hasn't done any of the scripts with me either, but I seem to automatically relax when he rubs my back or arm or head while I am falling asleep, so I feel like he generally relaxes me anyways. I can't wait to hear about all these wonderful hypnobirths :)

julie- I have had a hypnobabies birth and attended quite a lot of them at a hypno-doula (I'm also a Hypnobabies instructor, ha!!). I find that everyone uses it differently.... so I would just keep practicing all the techniques knowing that you will know what feels best to you 'in the moment.' For my last birth I used the PEACE cue a ton and it was a lot of inwardly visualizing my peace travel where i needed it (so the moving your anesthesia part of the eyes open childbirth hypnosis practice. Funny enough I didn't actually actively "use" my finger drop, but it was just THERE. I've had some moms very much focus on going off during waves and then center in between. I can see myself doing that more now since I am practicing it much more religiously than I did for my last birth (I was a home study mom and didn't have a teacher telling me how important it was... I kind of half-a$$ed the program, yet it still worked for me!!). I also REALLY liked the "relax" cue and my husband used it during transformation for me when I was SUPER close to pushing and starting to come out of my hypnosis a bit. It took me RIGHT back where I needed to be... and we had never even practiced it together (we did NO scripts together that entire pregnancy.... we definitely are this time!! It will be that much stronger!!)
