We don't do a whole ton of stuff, but I still feel like we're running around a lot. Most weekdays I go to the gym for an hour and Asher is *usually* happy just chillin in his carseat and watching everyone work out, but occasionally he gets hot, or just uncomfortable, and gets a little fussy, and those days I take him out of the seat and let him stretch on the floor, and I just use it as a stretch/roll out gym day.
I try to talk him through things as I think about it, like diaper changes, or what he seems to be looking at.
Sometimes he gets real fussy in the car, usually because he's hungry, and I reassure him that I know he's hungry, give him updates on how close we are to being home "we're going through the gate now, we have to drive through the neighborhood, 1 more minute...etc"
My gyms owner recently offered me a deal where I come by the gym 2-3 days a week to clean for an hour in exchange for free membership for me and hubby, so I think I'll go before my usual class, and just take his swing so he can get his nap while I clean. Once Hubby gets home, it will be much easier, and we can just switch off playing with him during the classes.
My favorite time of day though, is his afternoon naps, because that's our special time, he naps on my chest while I nap and I just love the snuggles. I'm glad he's so comfortable sleeping on people and I hope he continues to be comfortable with it, because that's gonna be the quickest way to bond with hubby (I actually learned this with our dog, he fell asleep on DH the first day we had him, and since then, that dog can do no wrong lol)
