DD allergic to FCLO??

I just received my order of FCLO(cinnamon tingle flavor) and BO on the mail today and decided to try to give it to my DD( 3years old). I gave her a 1/4teaspoon and she spit most of it out. But half a minute later her whole face turned super red with white splotches!!! It looked really weird. She didn't complain of being in pain or anything and behaved normally but her face stayed red for at least half an hour.

Was that an allergic reaction?

Should I  not give her FCLO again?

Ok. I will have to try a different flavor then. What other flavor do you guys recommend?

it's the cinnamon oil, but i'm not sure its an allergy, i think it's more of a skin irritant.

My little one enjoys the lemon flavor.  Also... the cinnamon can irritate their faces... spice burn.

Thanks for your suggestion. Does you little one take it in caps or liquid? My DD(3 years old) took the cinnamon flavored FCLO once  and spit most of it out so I don't know if she will want to try another flavor:(

He takes these.  We give him the adult ones, lightly lemon.  He likes to chew on them.  Hope this helps!

My kids take the unflavored FCLO w/ a bit of water mixed and dd2 uses a straw. I like the flavor of the peppermint but dd1 doesn't. Mixing w/ water makes a HUGE difference.

DD also likes the Carlson lightly lemon cod liver oil. She's taking the adult ones and just chews them, as well.
