I'm not talking about supplements or fluoridated water, but toothpaste (assume it's not swallowed) and quarterly fluoride treatments.  I understand (from somewhere, that's why I'm  posting, I need the latest findings) that the fluoride used in water is different in form than in toothpaste and gels/ resins.  But some folks are hesitant about any fluoride whatsoever, and I want updates.  Science, please.

We don't have fluoridated water and have refused the supplements. Â Not having any dental troubles, just want to know in general.
