Hi mamas, DS is 2 and starting to potty train in earnest. I have 2 questions:
1. He hasn't pooped in a diaper in a few months, so all of our diaper laundry is just pee-soaked diapers. I have mostly fuzzibunz diapers and use Rockin' Green detergent. I have always done 1 cold wash/rinse (no soap) followed by a hot wash with soap and an extra rinse. My understanding was that the initial cold wash/rinse was to kind of get the poop out so I'm wondering if I can try skipping that?
2. I used to wash diapers every other day, every 3 days max because I knew I should and I would run out of diapers! Now that we are just using a night-time diaper, I'm a little perplexed about the laundry? Seems so silly to wash 3 diapers in a load. What do other mamas do?
Thanks in advance for any tips or BTDT advice!
