I just cleaned out my attic.Everything had been destroyed by a couple of kitties that have since passed on :( ,and some of the old(100+years) painted wood floor has been affected. There was a kitty box in the corner at one time, and so there is traces of scoopable litter and a strong pee smell.I want to move my bedroom up there,as currently I am sleeping in half of my double parlor, and this space is much bigger and I'd actually have a little privacy.I need to get the floor cleaned asap.I'm going to scrub the corner on my hands and knees, but I was wondering if there is something specific I should be using. It hasn't been peed on in quite a few years, even with the smell none of my current kitties have made a mess there.I didn't realise how bad it was until I moved things.I want to get my stuff up there this weekend while I have help from my dad to carry up the bed and dresser. The bed has to go on the floor as it's just 2 mattresses.I'm not going to put the bed in that corner of course, but I'd like to clean the whole floor very well.Any ideas would be great!I'm going shopping today,so I'd like to pick up whatever I need then. Thanks so much!!
