Can you remove me from the list, please. I'm officially out. HCG is not high enough, and I started to miscarry what midwife is 99.9998% sure is the second baby. Heartbreaking to be sure.

Oh Bec, I am so so so sad and sorry for you.  What heartbreak.  Please take good care of yourself. hug2.gif  -Violet

*Thoughts / anything else you you would like to share:  I'm SO excited about this, but I'm also very anxious... In some ways, I'm wishing for the time to be hurried and gone, because I'm wanting to get to the end of the 12 week mark so that hopefully I can begin breathing easier.

tentitively introducing myself

*Name (whatever you would like to be called or like us to know you by): cheryl/rebirth

*EDD: I am choosing to give myself a range of "due" (approx 40weeks) June 16-23

*Age/ age when the baby will be born: 24

*Location: sarasota, florida

*How long it took you to get your BFP: this was our first month not avoiding, we were planning to actually try in 1-2 cycles.... I am in shock over that, as we tried 18 months with my son. We've had 3 miscarriages, one with twins, but my intuition for this pregnancy is strong and good.

*What number child is this for you: 2nd, 4 angel babies

*Family (partner, other children, pets): DH rob who is in law school, DS Noah who will be 2.5yrs when baby is born. Currently nursing MANY times per day, and hoping to keep a good supply. I really want to tandem nurse

*Birth plans/preferences: planning a second homebirth (not waterbirth.... I want to smell my baby!). We had a 6.5 hr birth with my son, and it was the most empowering event of my life! I plan to have a doula and birth photographer this time.

*Thoughts / anything else you you would like to share: just so happy to be here! I'm starving, having insomnia/crazy dreams alternately, moody/tearful/angry and a little short tempered. But I'm enjoying food and feeling well otherwise. I did my new pregnancy yoga dvd (and loved it!) looking forward to that practice smile.gif

*Name (whatever you would like to be called or like us to know you by): lela

*EDD: June 14

*Age/ age when the baby will be born: 33/34

*Location:  Tennessee for now, Oklahoma for the birth

*How long it took you to get your BFP:  complete and utter surprise. Still had my paragard in place!

*What number child is this for you: 2, poss. 3(!) The ultrasounds done while removing the paragard showed two embryos, though one is about twice as big as the other and there is only one visible yolk sac. It's crazy early right now, 3 wks post conception and I know many twin pregnancies result in singleton births so I'm not really sure what to think right now...that and I'm still waiting to see if the pregnancy sticks post-iud removal.

*Family (partner, other children, pets): DH (2007), DS 3, Margot the boxer dog and one old kitty

*Birth plans/preferences: I'd LOVE to have a VBAC, preferably at home. with twins I assume i'd be in a hospital, but I still want to try for as natural as possible. my c-sec was done after 8 hours of natural childbirth/pushing at a birth center. I'd love to try again. I know I can do it!

*Thoughts / anything else you you would like to share: Can you say shock???? We were planning on trying in a handful of months, once life has settled down a bit (my husband is finishing an intense Grad RN program and I'm plunking away at my own grad school studies), and then to find out there's TWO embryos and we are just stunned. Happy, yet really hesitant since there are so many unknowns...will we really have two?....will we have any? It's surreal.

*Age/ age when the baby will be born: 24

*Location: Princeton, NJ

*How long it took you to get your BFP: 3 months ( I have very long cycles, so two cycles over three months)

*What number child is this for you: #1 (AHHHHH!!)

*Family (partner, other children, pets): An amazing and sweet husband

*Birth plans/preferences: Just made an appointment with a midwife, we are considering a homebirth, but aren't sure and one of my best friends is doula and is going to work with us!

*Thoughts / anything else you you would like to share: I got my BFP today, so I may be jumping the gun a little, but I am *so* excited about being pregnant!!

Can you remove me from the roster?

Thanks,

*Name (whatever you would like to be called or like us to know you by):

*EDD: June 12

*Age/ age when the baby will be born: 40

*Location: South

*How long it took you to get your BFP:  We have tried on and off for 11 months.  Last month I finally decided it would be best if we were just a one child family and I could move on with life now that I turn 40 (this week).    I was so surprised when AF never showed up!

*What number child is this for you: 2

*Family (partner, other children, pets):  DH, DD (3 1/2)

*Birth plans/preferences: natural birth but not sure at home or hospital

*Thoughts / anything else you you would like to share:  I was shy and just lurked in the DDC my entire pregnancy with dd.   I promised I would jump in if DD2 came along.  So, here I am.
