Not sure bout my chart or what to think about it all. Been totally exhausted this past week...and I'm not sure if I should just continue to temp and chart or just let it go. Its frustrating.

I would keep charting. It would be nice to finally see a definite thermal shift so that you know you are ovulating. I'm not sure how many charts you have, but the other one I can see on fertility friend doesn't really have a clear thermal shift IMO. I wouldn't say you are ovulating from looking at these two charts, but that doesn't mean you won't. If, however, you continue to go weeks and weeks without a thermal shift, then maybe you should see a doctor. I think they can give you a drug that helps people to ovulate. Hang in there!

I agree, I would absolutely continue to chart. It really is valuable information to know that you have not yet O'd and that you might not be Oing at all. If you hadn't been charting you would have been wondering where AF is and why you're getting BFN's. This way you know that you haven't even O'd yet so you know not to expect AF yet. FX for a thermal shift in your future and in the meantime you are still my BDing hero! orngbiggrin.gif

Thanks jaimee. Ill keep chugging along and charting. I guess we got the bding down just need the o to match!

I remember you telling me my thermal shift would probably be above 98 and this morning hit 98.14!! I'm excited and hoping again. What do you think?

It's definitely possible!  You had that day of wet on CD 40 and then a small spike and now a bigger spike.  Very tentatively we could call O on CD 40, but we'll need to see some consistently high temps for the next 2 days.  FX!!!

Definitely have fingers crossed. Today looked good smile.gif
I was wondering if its ok to get a pap smear during 2ww? I'm supposed to get one next week and was wondering if I should change my appointment. Wasn't sure if that would affect anything
post #8 of 28

I don't see why a pap would be a problem... it's not a problem during pregnancy.  Of course, if you get pg, then they would give you one at your first or second appointment anyway!

Thanks! So FF marked me as 3dpo today....agree? Temp was lower but I guess not too low?

It's very promising, I just need to see another high temp before calling it b/c today's is a bit low and could indicate a trend down again.

Ok. I hardly slept last night just couldn't stay asleep maybe that messed with it? I woke up at 4 and fell back to see at 430 and woke up and tempest at 5
post #12 of 28

Disturbed sleep would usually result in a higher temp, not lower.  So we'll see what tomorrow brings!

Can I get your opinion for today?

Alright would gave been better if my pregnancy test was positive but I knew it was too early he just wanted to be sure. He said if I haven't gotten AF by Oct 24 to test again and if still negative then he'll give me progesterone to start it. He said if I know when I'm ovulating to keep track of it for the next 3 months and keep trying bding every other day. If I don't get my bfp I'm to go see him and hell start with checking hubby then well go from there.

I wanted to ask him about a short LP but I forgot. I had my follow up pap hopefully no biopsy this time when result come back. Painful pap yesterday and more bleeding then I usually have. Still little tad blood today....wondering if AF is coming already. greensad.gif hope not!

Thank you for caring by asking. smile.gif

Give you progesterone to start your period?  That wouldn't work...  progesterone is what is keeping your uterine lining from shedding.  Or did he mean to start taking the progesterone next LP?

He said it'll make AF come....I'm almost positive he said progesterone but I guess it could have been something else. I had forgotten to ask about a short LP...but maybe this month will prove different.it seems to me that o was noticeable unlike before.

Huh, well, I would get that clarified.  And why wait until the 24th?  That would be 19 days after O.  There is no way that you would not have gotten AF by then unless you were pregnant or had a cyst.  There is no reason that you cannot test earlier.  Based on your previous cycles, if your LP goes past 11 days, you have a very good chance of pregnancy.  So I would test around 12-14 DPO, personally!   I mean it sounds like he's assuming you did not ovulate this cycle, which is why he's suggesting you wait until the 24 to "bring on AF."  But I think it's pretty clear you did O.  Did yous how him your chart?  Was this your first time with this doctor?  Seems like his answers were a bit vague and unproductive...

I'm not sure why he said wait until then....I just assumed cuz he did a test there. I told him when I ovulated and he said it was probably still early. I didn't show him my chart and yes I have seen him before.

So when AF is coming I should get a temp drop? Does it drop the day it comes? Just wondering. Implantation bleeding is not common correct? Ill check out the thread on it was just wondering don't know too much about that.
