Every woman is different and cycles can vary as well, so whether you get a temp drop prior to AF or not cannot be predicted.  Often if there IS a sudden temp drop around the time of AF or a steady decline in temps just prior to expected AF then that is indicative that it is coming in the next day or so.  However, temps can remain above the CL during AF due to lingering progesterone, only dropping once your bleeding ends.  Hard to say. But I see that your temp went back up today!  Yay!  This is a good sign that things are improving with your cycle!

Implantation spotting is not common despite what you'll read on forums like these.  What is way more common is hormonal bleeding related to or unrelated to pregnancy.  So if bleeding does occur in the next few days, I would assume it is AF unless your temps remain high past the end of bleeding- then I would test again.

I agree. I actually have gotten my BFP's 10 DPO for both DS1 and DS2. Some doctors don't seem to be interested in charts at all.

The OB may have suggested using progesterone to bring on AF because I think if you use it for X ammount of time (I'm not sure how long that is) and then stop using it, causing a sudden drop in progesterone, it can trigger AF.

Ah, Texasfarmom, thanks for clarifying that.  I was wondering.  So it's sort of like hormonal shock therapy.  It's not the level itself, it's the change in level.

But the science aside, I don't suspect you would need that at all.  AF or a BFP is likely just a few days away.

Ok so I'm wondering what my body is up to. I had some bleeding from my pap on Wednesday into Thursday morning....then it stopped. Friday I whent to the bathroom and when I wiped there was pink blood not enough to make it to underwear next bathroom trip it was just a lil brown again only on tp. Now this morning only a drop of pink on the to!

What's up? Is this left over from pap? I did bleed more then usual. Is AF coming? She just usually starts and there's no denying she's here. Doesn't feel like AF at all.

It could still be from the pap, but I'm really hesitant to say for sure.  A pregnant cervix is often more sensitive than usual, which could be an encouraging sign.  It could be implantation spotting.  Honestly, what I think is most likely is it started out as bleeding from an irritated cervix from the pap and now you're having some random spotting from hormonal fluctuations that may or may not be related to pregnancy.   This might be the longest LP you've had in a while (we don't know b/c it's only your 2nd chart) and often when your hormones are beginning to regulate and your LP is lengthening, there will be some spotting on the days prior to AF as your progesterone starts to drop, but hasn't dropped far enough to cause full flow.  Spotting prior to AF is not normal in a regular cycle, but we know that your body is dealing with some hormonal issues so it's not surprising to me.  I would definitely mark it on your chart as spotting as well as when you had the pap and what bleeding you experienced from that in the notes section.

Are you considering testing tomorrow with FMU?  I probably would!  winky.gif  Be sure to pick up a sensitive test (only needing an hCG level of 25), pink dye, and not a +/- kind.  First Response Early Response is a good choice or dollar store tests if you plan to test more frequently.  Good luck!!

I think your chart looks promising. I would also test tomorrow. Either way, your cycle is looking good because you clearly ovulated, and your luteal phase is looking much better than last month.
