I have as question about the meningococci vac

I am currently pregnant , due in 4 weeks and I have a 15-month old , who is not vacced against meningococci yet , due to her age .
I am not either , but plan on getting it
How long do I need to wait after delivery to get the vaccine and can I get it while breastfeeding ?

Here in the US it isn't on the schedule until 11 or 12 years old, unless the child is high risk.http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/recs/schedules/child-schedule.htm
It's not on the schedule for adults unless there is an increased risk factor (living in a dorm ect)

It's not a "live" vaccine so I think it's alright to get while breastfeeding but the Menomune brand has mercury.http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/pubs/pinkbook/downloads/appendices/b/excipient-table-2.pdf
