I missed everybody so I started a new thread for October. If I messed up on anything and you didn't get added to the list or something is incorrect, just let me know. And I'd love to hear from any of our Sept BFPs, so I can add them as well. I know you're out there!

Hey Fnord! I'm out here. I'm having a hell of a time with TTC right now. Just doing my best to live in the present, be patient, and love life. DH and I had a "where do go from here/ what is the plan" talk today. I don't at all feel the need to be pregnant right now, I just so desperately need to have the CHANCE to become pregnant every month.

So how are you? How are things with the Hoshimotos? That's what it was right?

Anyone else out there? I'm thinking about you too!

I miscarried at 5w - so I can be taken off the BFP list and put onto the TTC #1 list

Chart:  http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/JelloPanda
Where are you in your cycle:   9DPO
Appointments:   thyroid and other blood testing this thursday

Thoughts:   I'm not pregnant this cycle, but there's always that little glimmer of hope...

Hello everyone! Long time no see. I really needed to take a break from charting, forums etc. and just RELAX, surrender and let go of the control I wanted to have over the TTC process. Well what do you know... we got our BFP yesterday morning!! We are going to be parents for the 1st time! It's all so surreal right now! joy.gif

I'll be 4 weeks tomorrow and it's already been a MAGICAL journey. I was inspired to blog/write about it, which you can read here if you're interested: http://prenatalcoach.com/pregnant-first-baby-vancouver/

Hoping you all get your BFP's this month!!!

P.S. I was surprised that there is no June DDC - I wonder when they create May & June... I'm still pretty new around here :)

Prenatal Coach -  the DDCs have moved to group format now instead of threads/forums. There probably is a June DDC out there :)

Monday Check-In
Name: Lillylady05
Date:  10/3/2011
Chart:
Where are you in your cycle:   CD 28
Appointments:  SA next Friday (Oct 14) and just need to call the doctor at the beginning of my cycle if hubs and I decide that IUI is our next step.
Symptoms if they apply:   Bloated, cramps like crazy, somewhat irritable
Testing:  Not planning on testing. I had surgery right before I usually ovulate and had to stop BDing for a little over a week. Possibility that I ovulated late and I might have a chance but I don't have my hopes up.
Thoughts:   I am hoping that my cycles stay consistent and stay under the 35 day mark so we can actually have a shot at trying without my ridiculously long cycles that I have had the last few years (60-130 days) I am hopeful that we will have our second baby next year.

Thanks, Sila. I know what you mean about where you're at right now. Things are really taking a toll on me, but I'm working on trying to find a way to empower myself through this process instead of just feeling helpless.

Congrats, PrenatalCoach!

I'm sorry about your loss, Jello. Good luck with your blood tests.

AFM, I do have Hashi's and I'm now on .5 mg of Synthroid a day. I think it might be causing hair loss. I still haven't gone in to get my blood tests since I started on the meds, that's scheduled for next week. Hopefully my SO will be getting a promotion soon. That will double what he makes now and he'll be able to get on his company's insurance plan, which is much better than the insurance I have now. I think I want to get a second opinion, because the endo I went to see immediately shot down the idea of prescribing Armour without me even bringing it up.

Also, my chart says I ovulated on CD15, which I've never ever done before, but I really don't think it's accurate seeing as my waking temps were all taken between 11am and 2pm (except for this morning when I woke up at 8:30am), and my CM is getting more fertile everyday.

Hey ladies just checking in to say hi and to see how everyone is doing. Were still in the TTC process and hoping that we get our BFP soon :)

Monday Check-In
Name: BeachLove
Date: 10/10/11
Chart: I don't have one
Where are you in your cycle:  I Think I am waiting to O.... no EWCM yet
Appointments: none
Symptoms if they apply:  tiredness.... but that is typical when you are the parent of a two year old!
Testing: I might do one on a whim this week, but I don't expect a BFP
Thoughts:
I had what I am pretty sure was AF a week and a half ago. No EWCM yet (a little watery here and there). And only a very little bit of creamy CM a few days ago (I do mean a really little bit).

I'm on Vitex now, and last month I got a pretty "typical" cycle as far as CM patterns go, but it was a short cycle. Hmmm. I really don't know what is going on. I would love to be able to chart, but my DD wakes up at such erratic times in the wee hours that it is not really possible to do it accurately.

Monday check-in (a tad late!)

Date: 10/11/11

Chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/3710e1

Where you are in your cycle: DC 29, DPO7

Appointments: none yet

Testing: I will be testing at 14DPO (Oct. 18th), although, in all honesty maybe a few days before that

Thoughts: I just saw a big spike in temperature today. It was so noticeable that I took my temp twice to see if it was just a fluke. I am hoping that it is a good sign (maybe even that implantation happened yesterday!) Just waiting and hoping my temps stay high!

My DH and I are trying to time my pregnancy during my summer break from course work. Taking time out of my graduate program would be difficult and would set me back and endanger my funding. We *really* need it to work out that I take my 'maternity leave' over a summer. If we don't conceive this cycle (or *maybe* next cycle) then we are going to stop trying until next year. So. . .the pressure is on!!

BeachLove, I have erratic waking times too. Have you tried charting based just off CM and other fertility signs? I know some women have really good results with that. I've also considered using a Ferning kit, have you ever tried those?

GradStudent, good luck with POS! I hope you get your BFP ON TIME.

Hi Nan! It must be so tough to stay on BCPs when you've got baby fever. I don't think I could do it. Good luck to you! I don't remember, what are you going to school for?

AFM, my little sister came to visit for her birthday. I told my mother ( who drove her down 9 hours away) that I wanted to postpone the trip, but I guess she didn't believe me because she showed up anyways, right at my most fertile time. So it's pretty unlikely I'll get any BFP this cycle since my house has no doors ( just curtains). eyesroll.gif

I've not tried the ferning kit, but I've heard of them. I have been trying to go off of CM the last few months. I got some EWCM yesterday (but not a lot of it). So maybe this will be my month! Fingers are crossed!

And maybe you can send your mom out to grab coffee or something for you all, and you and your husband could squeeze something in! Or take a shower together? Good luck!

Hi all! This is the former marykgrove. I changed my name a couple weeks ago so I need my name changed in the list, too. I missed you all! I'm still ttc and just started to feel balanced about 1 month ago after my MC in July. AF just ended and I'm looking forward to Oing right around Halloween. Thanks Fnord for starting the new thread. It only took me 2+ weeks to notice wink1.gif
