Info on Pertussis Vax Shedding

Does anyone have any info on the pertussis vax shedding? Thanks!

It doesn't.  Only live vaxes have the potential to shed.

It doesn't shed but it also does not prevent transmission or being a carrier. So someone who has been vaccinated for pertussis could potentially get another person sick without knowing they are a carrier.

It is on the CDC website (if memory serves me well) ~ just states that prevention of transmission is not known. But probably the best place to find links about it is in the link here in the vaccine forum.
