Nutritionist/dietician for Gestational Diabetes (Baltimore area)

Hello all!
I was recently diagnosed with GD in my 32rd week of pregnancy. I've gotten some adequate but not incredibly useful diet info from the dietician at St Joes where I am getting my prenatal care and am looking for someone to help me figure the diet aspect of this out (am diet controlled at present - no meds). I especially would like some guidance post partum for weight loss and to decrease my chances of developing diabetes after the birth (as much as I can).
Does anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks is advance

When my wife had gestational diabetes, Anna Osztreicher at the Sinai Diabetes in Pregnancy Program was very helpful: http://www.lifebridgehealth.org/Sinai/DiabetesinPregnancy1.aspx

Adriane Kozlovsky is Registered Nutritionist we work with who does meal planning and specializes in diabetes: http://www.healthgrades.com/provider/adriane-kozlovsky-39w2h/

If you would like more information, feel free to email us at lschugam@feedingthepeople.org

We run a volunteer-based nonprofit called Feeding the People that empowers low-income diabetics with meals, education, and support.

Best,

Larry Schugam

Thanks so much, Larry! I requested an appointment with Anna - we live right across the street from Sinai, so that is convenient.

Your work sounds really interesting,

Thanks again,
