Paloma here...late to post!

Hiya mamas...don't know how you managed to post so quickly, but I am so happy to say that Paloma Chiara arrived Sept. 22nd, the evening before I was scheduled for induction at 41+5 days!

We were able to have the home/water birth we had hoped for, and the little one was even born in her bag of waters...super special for all of us, maybe a little too intense for my 8 year old, who did great until pushing....my long moaning mantras made her cry.

Bit the side of the tub so hard I broke off my front tooth, so I'm pretty funny looking in first photos. Totally lovely little 7lb 4oz girl. Only now coming up for air from baby bliss but so good to see all of your births listed here!

Thanks...and congrats to you nicole! it is super sweet..holding on to the preciousness of this time as much as possible....feeling the "real world" encroaching daily but so happy to hold her in my arms at last...

Oh my goodness, congrats!  I hope your tooth is fixable, but what a crazy fun story to tell later!  :)

And yay for beating inductions... my dd3 beat her induction deadline by a few hours, just like yours!  I think that means we may have our hands full with children who like to push the envelope and take things down to the wire.  Enjoy your babymoon!
